Project: DistroLogic™ Platform for ABX Air and Atlas Air
Overview:
ABX Air and Atlas Air have partnered with DistroLogic to implement a logistics automation platform designed to streamline the distribution of aircraft parts to Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) across North America and internationally. This ongoing project focuses on reducing aircraft-on-ground (AOG) risks and optimizing operational efficiency through end-to-end supply chain management.

Problem:
ABX and Atlas Air faced logistical challenges in sourcing and delivering time-critical aircraft piece parts to FBOs. Delays in part delivery resulted in costly AOG situations, missed timelines, and operational inefficiencies. A scalable, automated solution was necessary to streamline the process and improve delivery predictability.

Approach:
DistroLogic is in the process of developing a customized platform that will automate the entire supply chain for aircraft parts. This includes integrating approved suppliers into the system, optimizing order routing, automating fulfillment via preferred carriers, and delivering parts directly to the appropriate FBOs. The platform will also feature predictive restocking and real-time visibility for better inventory management and faster response times.

Experience:
The ongoing implementation of the DistroLogic™ platform will enable ABX and Atlas Air to gain centralized control over their logistics operations, reduce manual intervention, and ensure quicker, more reliable delivery to FBOs. Real-time monitoring and predictive logistics intelligence will provide operational insights and performance data, with scalability for future expansion across additional fleets and hubs.
